St. Ann’s Community has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and energetic Project Coordinator to play a key role in the continued growth of St. Ann’s.
Under the general direction of the VP, this position is responsible for all aspects of the project life-cycle.
Acts as a strong facilitator in the development and implementation of work processes with multiple business units. Includes follow-up and tracking procedures to ensure implementation. The individual must be highly energetic, solution driven and flexible in his/her interpersonal style. Outstanding communications skills in both written and verbal expression are required. The individual should be a self-starter, persistent, adept in using metrics to drive performance and driven to succeed.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSProjects and Plannin
Under limited supervision, manages multiple projects while monitoring, summarizing, communicating, and reporting status to the Vice President, and Senior Management. Receives strategic direction from the VP, but daily work is self-directed.
Takes projects from original concept through final implementation. Develops a detailed project plan and schedule. Works with VP to assemble project team, identify appropriate resources, assign responsibilities, facilitate planning meetings and develop schedule to ensure timely completion of projects.
Manages change to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques in order to keep the project plan accurate and updated with authorized changes.
Measures project performance using appropriate tools and techniques to monitor the progress of the project, identify and quantify variances, perform any required corrective actions, and communicate to all stakeholders.
Handles other duties, meetings and projects as assigned by managementConstruction, Development and Properties
With direction from VP, manages construction projects including construction of new facilities as well as renovations and expansion of existing properties.
Determines need for general contractors and facilitates selection process when necessary.
Recommends subcontractors for each project utilizing a bidding process.
Facilitates selection of appropriate furniture and fixtures including all design and purchase activities.
Contributes to development of proformas and develops presentations for building projects for approval.
Coordinates with architects and appropriate business unit leaders on new building projects and remodels.
Obtains cost estimates for planned projects and creates proposed schedule for facility modifications and new construction.
Obtains and manages cost estimates for projects and reviews invoicing for approval by VP.
Inspects construction and installation progress.
Coordinates employee and resident relocation activity.
Ensure full understanding and compliance with all statutory requirements (e.g. zoning, tax issues, etc.) and real estate agreements (e.g. insurance renewals, tax payments, etc.).
Ensure compliance with local codes, laws, and any other regulations.
Works with finance and VP to procure commercial liability insurance for new properties through company insurance program
Coordinates the leasing of excess office space.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Organizational Management, or other relevant field of study or equivalent professional experience.
Five years of construction or project management.
Willingness to receive project management training and sit for PMP certification;
Strategic thinking, breakthrough thinking and creative problem solving skills, showing an ability to overcome obstacles;
Strong organizational and analytical skills;
Patience and ability to excel under pressure, handling multiple requests often with tight deadlines;
Resourcefulness, ingenuity, strong decision making and problem solving skills;
Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MS Project)
Superior communication skills – verbal, written, presentation and negotiation;
